The session started at 2pm on 6^th 2010-. About 200 personals, including Principal, Vice Principal, teachers and students from various departments attended the seminar. A general awareness about the current day, due need to conserve the environment and the different ways in which people inadvertently pollute the Mother Nature was interestingly illustrated by Sri Babu Thomas. Carbon Cycle, climate change and the role of Co2 in it, increase in percentage of Co2 in air, causes for the depletion of ozone layer, environmental laws were among many of the topics discussed. The lecture, alongside a power point presentation was very interesting and informative. And this response of the session also registers the Principal’s and department’s sincere gratitude towards Sri Babu Thomas for his lively lecture.
